Launched on Aug 19'2017, https://leep2successorg.wordpress.com/ This was my second website dev project since I left Google in Nov 2016 -- hands-on w.r.t responsive website development. . I couldn't have done this without the help and partnership of Ramkumar Sangameshwar. We threw ourselves into the deep end, looked at very many frameworks, and finally selected something that was going to be easy to use to solve the problem -- to capture the essence of LEEP book - a life transforming programme for young minds. It was a fun ride.

Aug 19 2017: Conducted workshop for high school students @ international school on negative impacts of internet and social media.

2016: Removing spinning disk from all Google data centers: The diskless project (>½ Billion$) involved managing the conversion of ALL of the cells from non-diskless to diskless fleetwide --- an extremely complex project involving and impacting teams all across Google. The project was running late on its critical milestone to rollout diskless to a production cluster. I was instrumental in getting the project back on track from a death-spiral mode.

Focus was on engineering at Google, the mindset we use to approach development, and why learning organisations are key. I discussed 5 key learnings to help developers accelerate productivity and avoid "stagnation".

2012: I was 1 of 14 Googlers selected worldwide to participate in the 2012 GoogleReach leadership immersion pgm in India. During the program, a video I created using my nexus phone while understanding microfinacing industry: the difference small loans can make to eradicate poverty.

We met every 4th Wednesday of the month -- it was "the" place for Java developers to share and learn, an incubation of sorts. MTVJUG attracted top talent to speak at its JUG.

1996: I always wanted to write for Dr.Dobbs. My article on Server-Side Javascript got published. It was a "yes" moment for me as the web was branching out from static to dynamic page and database backed websites.

1995: Launched the first Web-based Software Environment into public domain. Developed system that made metrics collection an implicit part of software process, and analysis dynamically. The tool tracks issues in software development process, provides informal communication between users, roles, todo lists. The goal is improvement through measurement.

I presented my findings “Software Project Management and Measurement on the World-Wide-Web (WWW),” IEEE Fifth Workshop on Enabling Technologies, Infrastructure for Collaborative Enterprises (WETICE’96) at Stanford University. The tool won praise from NASA (Used as a prototype for NASA’s issue tracking and management process on the Earth Observing System Data & Information System & Space Station projects). Over 20+ alpha customers including CERN, Lawrence Livermoore Lab, CNet etc. Released to public domain.
